The Last Blog On Vault-Co

Many of you have written me lately to ask if Vault-Co is winding down.

The answer is yes.

This will be my last post after 19 years of continuous sandwich board pacing with THE END IS NIGH on the web. I've been blogging before the invention of the word "blogger."

This blog will remain up as a placeholder until the page for my open source software CD-OS is launched.

I can't answer any questions on why this is happening. I am truly thankful for the regular readers of Vault-Co over the past 19 years and their encouragement. I figure that Vault-Co has easily had ten million hits overall since it started if you count it's first manifestation in WordPress. I have never promoted the site, canvassed for readers or attempted to link other sites here. Somehow ten million web browsers found their way here over the years. Not a single one of them has ever been pestered with an advertisement during that entire time. I have never tried to make a dime off this blog.

If you want to know why I started the blog to begin with ... it was right after I converted to Christianity after over a decade of regarding myself as an atheist. One passage in Ezekiel stuck out to me and a few weeks later I put my first primitive page up, a three column copy of the Drudge Report called "Texas Arcane's Survival Report."

Ezekiel 33:1-33

The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them, If I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from among them, and make him their watchman, and if he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the trumpet and warns the people, then if anyone who hears the sound of the trumpet does not take warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life."

Thank you for all your hard work Tex, please find every blogpost you ever made as an easter egg for vault-os.

Also, see you tomorrow.

This is sad news. Just as the shit is about to hit the fan.
You've done a great job warning folk though, thanks for that.

The bible verse you quoted will make me ponder starting my own blog, I've been mulling doing something for a few months, centred around the importance of Christian faith in having any hope of coping with the shit decades that lie ahead.

I found the Neanderthal online community last year (by chance) and then very quickly found God, so there's some connection between the two. Hallelujah for that.

May God protect and bless you and your family Tex.

( A PS....I just read about the jubilee rules in Leviticus. Debt collapses terminated in 1982, 1933, 1881, the early 1830s, the 1780s and even the 1730s, before industrialisation. That was as far back as I went, and I suspect the dollar debt collapse/hyperinflation will conclude in 2031. We ignore God at our peril).

It's been a pleasure to converse with you here, on this blog, over the years. It's not hyperbole to say your posts and comments have changed my life. I would still think I'm the crazy one instead of the sane Neanderthal living among crazy saps. I'm sad to see this site go, but I'm also glad you're making progress on your other projects, like Grimoire and CD-OS. I'll keep an eye out for you in the future, but in the meantime, godspeed and god bless.

Sad to learn Cleve. Been keeping up with your blog since 2012. You're one of the things that drew me to the cuckdex in the first place. Will there still be a platform to reach you to talk about neanderthals, melonheads and other Khazar topics?

I will miss the posts. Does anyone know of any other sites pushing for long term survival shelter ideas? Iron sharpens iron.

I look forward to the CD-OS.

Any one who wants to chat about shelter building ideas please feel free to contact me.

Just like that? You've taken away my raison d'ĂȘtre! What the hell am I supposed to do now? My hands are unsuited to manual labour!

I suppose I could always fall back on my natural business acumen, having generated $5 in Adsense revenue off of my Fault-Co blog; an amount greater than the turnover of Vault-Co to the tune of approximately $5.

Coincidentally that's the same amount you owed me from a bet you lost to me back in 2006 that John Titor's predictions would come true, when we were a couple of forum members at AusSurv. Then came the death threats by monster truck, and so forth.

Hard to believe it's been that many years.

Truly this is the end of an era.

Thanks for your insights. VaultCo offered excellent reading material, educational and entertaining. One of the last bastions of common sense in this crazy world.

hope all is ok Tex
I moved back to Vic about when did a few years ago when you discovered this place that was shielded with mountains and by chance blessed with the underground tunnel systems

Total anti-establishment and insightful
