Interesting to see how carbon dating has previously been affected by events like the Industrial revolution and nuclear testing (both moved Carbon14 levels, but in different directions) but now carbon emissions sill supposedly turn this dating into even more of a lottery.

"For instance, the study suggests that by 2050 — just 35 years from now — new clothes could have the same radiocarbon date as something worn during the Battle of Hastings in 1066. "
