Amazing Underground Construction

This documentary is about an hour long, the part that goes underground is incredible.

I envy this guy. Sitting on top of your own Fallout-style cave system is a dream come true.

I'd spend some money building this out to be a bit more modern and a lot more tech. I think it is unbelievable what this guy did on his budget.

That whole video is very impressive. I like his style. He puts all these various myriad of parts together so skillfully.

Underground fish farming is something that never occurred to me. You could grow fish waste fertilized crops above.

One thing he didn't say was if he had to pump the water or was that the water table.

If you really want the cheapest most efficient housing older travel trailers are it. Airstreams are overpriced. Look at Avion's.

They're higher quality than airstream. You can also get them cheaper. Lately I've been looking at motorhomes. The old ones that were offshoots from aircraft companies are really cool. What prompted this is the Barth RV that was in the video. The best I've found are Barth and Revcon. Some of these are of outstanding quality. Built like boats in some ways. Even with teak trim in places. See if you can get that now. Revcon really looks good. Aircraft aluminum, front wheel drive with 2" of dense insulation. Aluminum sheet interior covered with vinyl. VERY cool and some these go for a little bit of nothing. I've seen some outstanding ones for $12K USD most are much more reasonable but may need various amounts of work.

Of course a travel trailer will never have the status of a tiny house. Even if it's better. Oh well.

Nice blog is the Tiny House blog
