The Truth Is Never Welcome Anywhere

This was actually well understood at the end of the 18th century, the problem is that man is not a learning animal. It's an urban myth about the average man being capable of learning. Homo Sapiens gave himself one of the most ironic latin nomenclatures that could possibly be imagined.

Britain shuts down centuries of history with nightmarish regime of Orwellian laws under a pall of darkness. Good riddance to bad rubbish. If they had simply surrendered under the blitz in the 1940's would it have really made any difference? They'd have a lot of lovely heritage buildings still standing and simply live under Nazi jackboots instead of the jackboots of their elites. Same jackboots, nicer architecture to look at when moving between checkpoints and being challenged for your papers.

Identical laws word-for-word by Julia Gillard have failed in Australia but only barely. She came up with this identical piece of legislation sweeping back 1200 year old English Common laws for freedom of speech and expression at the exact same time as the British through a marvelous coincidence, our "elected leader." What an amazing piece of synchronicity, that's what it is. I'm sure she is not actually working for people outside of the country. That's ridiculous to even suggest.

It is strange, the emphasis on 'non-fat' everything in America, but so much stuff made of High Fructose Corn Syrup. You'd think they would have worked it out by now.
The corn industry is just far too powerful over there.

They get so wrapped up in it all being about "personal responsibility" while ignoring the massive industry developed around making people sick and keeping them that way.

Sugar is terrible, but the worst villain may be animal protein, clearly causing cancer and heart disease. I'm reading The China Study by T. Collin Campbell, and I'm amazed by what I'm finding out.

Quit the animal protein (or cut WAY back), especially if you're over 50 as you can cut your risk dramatically with a late diet change.

Not so sure about that, Contrapundit. You can usually spot the vegie. I had the displeasure of living with a closet vegan for a few months, and she piled on weight and had a permanent case of brain fog.

That one was always trying to drop little passive niggling hints about diet, at every opportunity - to somebody ten years her senior but much fitter & healthier, despite putting in a tenth of the effort. About half of my diet is meat. I don't bother with exercise, and have no health issues.

I've also read that bone analysis of the nobility vs peasantry in medieval Europe reveals that the nobility had a meat based diet, and on average were a foot taller and twenty years longer lived than the grain eating peasantry.

Those sharp teeth up the front of your head aren't there for decoration.

Contrapundit -

Your ideas are the official opposition approved for public consumption. They're not really going to resonate here on Vault-Co.

Anything directing anybody's attention away from high fructose corn syrup is a strawman.

As Mex said, you can always spot a vegan. They look like vampires, weak as babies and are usually working out the end of a terminal disease when you see them. You go in a health food store, you can see the big healthy bucks like me standing beside these diminutive creatures wearing caps to cover their chemo hair loss. They've always got a list of general biological problems they claim to be whipping through vegetarianism but it is often as they are closing the casket lid on them and lowering them into their graves.

Off topic but, looks like your predictions of a new ice age are coming true

I wonder if we will have to get used to weather like this happening all the time.

If you'll permit me, Tex, this one is for Contrapundit.

Contrapundit, take a look at this blog post (and a few others) by Denise Minger, a woman who exercised some simple reading comprehension and basic knowledge of statistics to de-bunk aspects of T. Colin Campbell's China Study:

On my way to discovering the caveman diet, I found this article, indeed the whole website, illuminating:

I ad some extra rich organic double cream milk last night before going to bed and washed it down with 18 grams of conjugated linoleic acid, a super fatty acid that even fat calls fatty and fat.

According to accepted theories about the way the human body works, I should have never woken up and if I did I should have had a triple coronary from all that fat clogging my arteries.

Instead, I had lost an inch off my waistline overnight and discovered the scales said somehow I had burned off a kilo in my sleep which must have been purely composed of heat energy because I did not even go to the bathroom before weighing myself. The one conclusion I drew is that I need to try to make fat the biggest part of my diet from now on if I want to be healthy. It is sugar I have to avoid like the plague.

The fittest and healthiest I've been in my life was when I was primarily living off bacon & eggs, lemon cheesecake, and full cream milk fortified with full cream milk powder. 20 minutes HIT a day. Couldn't go wrong.

Do you recommend any particular brand of CLA?

I know with Vitamin D, you want to be taking 'Bio Organics', in the red bottles. I know a doctor who did his own independent tests on Vitamin D supplements off the self, and that was the only one he found which had the right type and amount of Vitamin D - most of the others were basically false advertising. Ironically, it's one of the cheaper brands too.

The CLA is from over EBay.

I was trying to take it as a powder originally and it was definitely working then but it tasted horrible, so I take it as capsules now.

I have heard this about Vitamin D too, which is frustrating that different brands vary so widely.

I really think the Vitamin companies need to develop a private regulator like Underwriters Laboratories in the U.S. to verify potency of vitamins independently.

I'm not going to ever try to sell anybody on that CLA because it simply works incredibly well with no side effects of any kind I have seen. It has been peeling off me for weeks taking it since I switched to nothing but fat in my diet. I am getting to where I would seriously consider surviving off creeping through alleyways behind fast food shops and sucking out of their grease drums with a straw. It may sound insane - okay, actually, that would be insane - but I think people could actually eat a diet like that and still be a lot healthier than they would believe as long as they don't touch any sugar of any kind.

Those fryer contents are mostly cheap soy oil and the burnt remnants of processed meat. But yeah. Sugar and its substitutes will drag you to an early grave.

I don't see why anybody needs to ride the white horse when you can snack on an omelette made from fresh eggs, a knob of butter, a cup of chopped spinach, some cracked black pepper, maybe a little cayenne, and a good pinch of salt. That's a lot more satisfying than a packet of TimTams and a Fanta.
