A Dark Shadow In The Brain Where The Frontal Lobes are Supposed To Go

Many people know this instinctively. This scientist has been able to document it.

You can make a monster out of a person in two different ways:

1. Damage or stunt the growth of the frontal lobes. (Psychopath who claims to be motivated by altruism)

2. Damage or stunt the growth of the amygdala (Sociopath who claims to be motivated by altruism)

You'd be amazed. At least 1 in 4 people is damaged goods this way. Stuff doesn't fire correctly. As a social creature, these people are not reciprocal and actively work at spreading pain and chaos.

Homo Sapiens calls these people leadership material. Neanderthals call them damaged goods.

Homo Sapiens showers these types with women, wealth and prestige. Neanderthals would give them beef jerky and a stick and send them on the long walk.

Guess which of these two races has the largest brains?  Go ahead, guess.

Next up ... Vault-Co predicts many academics will lose tenure over coming years or be driven from their professions when they begin to document the irrefutable evidence that the ratios of these kinds of people differs according to demographics. They will show that some races have higher percentages of these people either one way or the other.

Remember, you can lose your wallet anywhere on this planet in any country and if you can tell me the demographic statistics on that region I can tell you the exact likelihood of your wallet being returned to you with the money still inside it. The likelihood depends precisely on what percentage of Neanderthal genes exist in that population. Nothing else matters. A Neanderthal, even if nobody saw him pick up that wallet, will return it to you with the money still inside it. They are just like that. The Neanderthal is a good sort by nature. It is not calculated or anticipating rewards or a theatrical gesture. The Neanderthal is fundamentally good at heart. That's just the way they are and the way they have always been and the way they will always be. They have a million years of adaptive responses which have left them basically upright. Sucks to be without Neanderthal genes. Abel is blessed but his brother Cain will always be accursed no matter where he goes or what he does. This is something baked in, not created by environment or upbringing. Left to their own devices the Neanderthal will always tend to turn out better than other peoples. As many of you who read Vault-Co know, it is my belief that the Neanderthal was genocided for precisely this reason. The rulers of this planet did not want this sphere inhabited by a bunch of good men and women. They wanted bastards to rule over and they needed to get rid of the rodeo clown for this to happen.

There are couple of Thal links for you. FYI, i once saw an actual 10€ bill lying on the street in Helsinki, but didn´t pick it up cos of the moral dilemma, of who would i return it to !?. So i let some else "be lucky" that day, this must then be a Thal feature :).

The good and pure are always targets for evil. Seen as weak for their righteousness, the good and pure are run off or beaten. I think it has a lot to do with the evildoers' own cognizance of the sin of his actions - knowing he is doing wrong, doing it anyway, and fearing others will see it because of the foil provided by the good and pure peoples.

Thought provoking, as usual, Tex. I enjoy reading Vault-Co. I have a question about determining Thal heritage. You describe the Thal type as somewhat shy or antisocial, intelligent, thoughtful, generally moral, tending to be outcast, and preferring small tribal units to large social circles. This sounds like me. Never had many friends because I didn't want them, bullied and teased, very high marks in school until I felt that school no longer served my needs or purposes, drifted about from job to job until I found the calling to do what nature intends women to do: be a wife, be a mother.

I cannot afford the 123andMe service, and near as I can tell, the only thing it tells you re: Thal DNA is whether or not you have Basque ancestry, which I understand is only one indicator of possible Thal DNA. I'm of mostly Eastern European and German stock. This is more of a curiosity for me than anything else, a thought exercise. But I'd be curious to know if there is some deep genetic reason for my general inability to fit into regular society, and to see events in very, very different light than those who surround me.

Drugs and alcohol are powerful social lubricants, people say, but it seems to me that good and pure people who take these substances at the hands of evil men, in order to make them more "social" would have a very hard time overcoming the negative effects, including eventual addiction.

Sorry, I rambled a bit in that last one, but I wanted to comment on the heart of the matter: the dark spot in the brain.

Sometimes my instincts tell me "that person is just not right." I sometimes hear people say "he's not right in the head" or "his wires are all crossed." People know, but until "science" proves something, no one will acknowledge what their own instincts and experiences have shown them. Some people are damaged. It's sad, but it is true, and yet we are continually urged to accept criminally violent people into our communities and schools and homes.

I also wonder what the diet connection is in all this. Physical trauma by blunt force or tumor growth is easy to detect, but what about a brain starved of proper nutrients? How many psychopaths could have grown up normally if given enough breastmilk, fat and animal proteins, fish, pure water, and very little sugar and grain foods? A poor diet damages cognition and emotional development as much as not being held enough by your mother or loved by a family.

I think the dark-spot find is fascinating, but it doesn't really tell us anything that instinct already does. I think science has worth and value, but I grow tired of the constant seeking to reduce every human experience to a set of variables and inputs, like we're being prepped for the Singularity.

I'm sure Kurzweil would just call me a philistine and be happy to leave my plain ole biologically intact self behind in his cyborg NWO.

Funny but true.

Your observations seem pretty solid.

Powerful members of organizations can't conceive of risks:

"The results showed that powerful people don't even conceive of threats when they create imaginary narratives."

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/02/130208152804.htm

Defective frontal lobes cause irrational optimism:

"However, when the information was worse than estimated, the more optimistic a participant was (according to the personality questionnaire), the less efficiently activity in these frontal regions coded for it, suggesting they were disregarding the evidence presented to them."

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/10/111009140201.htm

And irrational self-esteem:

"And the more you view yourself as desirable or better than your peers, the less you use those lobes."

http://psychcentral.com/news/2010/01/07/high-self-perception-low-brain-activity/10606.html

Some bonus gatekeeperism:

"I Don't Know What to Believe: Making Sense of Science Stories... explains the peer review process -- the system researchers use to assess the validity, significance and originality of papers. It captures experiences and insights from editors and scientists and encourages people to ask "Is it peer reviewed?" when reading science stories."

I'm curious about what you said the other day about the Vedas. What specific texts foresaw a collapse of civilization in this way? Regarding the dating, are you familiar with Tilak?

Amy you are a truly beautiful woman and it comes from the inside. As you know if you read this blog, I don't think there is enough fake spray-tan in the world to make a Sapiens girl that pretty.

My son was asking me last night about this, if psychosis is always genetic. I told him it clearly isn't, in fact it is obvious that abuse, neglect, poor diet and a susceptibility are a major contributor. There are some people born for whom there aren't enough vitamins in the world to prevent them from developing this way but there are a lot of monsters who are manufactured.

If we think of a portion of the population as being borderline then certainly the tipping factor would lie with the civilization around them. I am convinced that in some people, it is a biological mechanism of self-defense. If you are growing up in a society where it is obvious psychopaths have the rule of the roost then that part of your brain is going to be abandoned and left to dwindle. This happens often in nature where certain species can change from fairly placid to extremely violent given environmental conditions. Once these people are running the society at the top all the sane people start to sound like born losers. I believe this may manifest itself in changing the targets of growth in the brain. If people see psychopathy pays and principles are for losers nobody respects anymore then that can't help but affect neurochemistry. That's why I say once the former lowlifes occupy the institutions there is no going back. The society will always collapse, nothing can restore power to the hands of people with more impulse control and emotional stability.

The current President of the United States is a lifelong drug addict who has never been able to curb his impulses on anything. This says volumes about the future direction of the country.

Oafus,

The Vendantics were apparently a group of scholars with retention of very high order sanskrit who survived the terrible events of the Mahabarata. Wherever they were, they decided to write down and analyze all the things that had led up to these wars that destroyed the former ruling castes and their entire society. It was like they were sending a message in a bottle forward to other people in the future to warn them of their mistakes.

They emphasized that the breaking down of gender roles, creation of other units of social organization outside the nuclear family and the confusion of desire with the ultimate goal of sex which is and always has been about reproduction were the primary, not the secondary causes of their society's deterioration.

They wrote explicitly that all corruption of civilization begins with the women. When they are removed from their position of honor as mothers and sisters they said that men begin to lose their reasons for existing, which is to protect and nurture them and their children. This echoes sentiments that have been repeated for thousands of years by many others.

They said that when men drift from their primary place as defenders and fathers, everything else begins to unravel very quickly.

The aptness of the Vedantics has not changed in 9000 years. They could be writing about today in their work and nobody would be able to tell.

Thanks Cleve. I'm trying to keep the pestering to a minimum but could you please specify the texts describing these events? I trust in your judgment but really need to see these things for myself (not that I disagree with this explanation of civilizational decline).

I have read some of the Kalki Purana (a Hindu eschatological text), which mentions that Kalki's wife would be from a nation full of aircraft and huge buildings. They knew that technological progress shouldn't be mistaken for human progress, in other words.

"They could be writing about today in their work and nobody would be able to tell."

But they would still be condemned as racist fascists :)

I fear you are correct; we are going to see a rise in psychopathic behavior in the coming years. Where to retreat?

The attack on private property has as its ultimate purpose the dissolution of the family institution and its replacement by an omnipotent and omniscient state that will take care the rearing of children (See The Hunger Games, Hollywood movies serve no other purpose these days that to condition the masses in regard to what awaits them)

The melonheads regard man (homo sapiens) as essentially promiscuous due to his hunter-gather heritage, where parental investment was a non-issue. The introduction of agriculture and access to private property functioned as a mechanism of control of these impulses because parental investment was necessary for this form of societal organization.

Therefore private property = evil

So now by taking private property away while at the same time promoting sexual liberation they can at last have the population control they always desired , and it will be only a matter of time before sapiens will revert back into his hunter-gatherer ways and put an end to the short interval that lasted 10000 years.

If it weren't only for those damned caring and nurturing Neanderthal genes that kept persisting and sabotage the whole project, but finally with their eventual diminishing they can put things under control again. It was a long wait for the Melons, but definitely worth it.

A few years ago after high school graduation I went to a travel agent to book a trip to the ocean. On my way out I noticed an envelope on the ground and discovered several hundred dollars in it. I got in my car to leave but couldn't do it. I went back into the travel agent and started asking around. Eventually I saw some woman crying in the corner and went and asked if her if she lost something. I have never seen such a bewildered look on someone's face when I gave her the money. She cried more and gave me a hug. Now, I'm not really certain of God or karma but I do know that the trip I took was the best time of my life. The friends I went with still talk about the fun and adventures we had. We were young and did some crazy things but not one of us got in any trouble. I never bump into those friends without a comment about that trip and how lucky we were. Sometimes I think there is karma.

Where I live it is unexceptional to have lost valuables returned.
In my case, an expensive tablet PC was held for two weeks and returned to me. On an other occasion an unknown taxi driver found my wallet in the parking lot, searched me down, and returned it with credit cards and 2000 in cash
