Widespread Acceptance Gaining For ABiotic Origins of Oil and Natural Gas

Thomas Gold was right. Everybody else was wrong.

It's easy to tell where the truth lies. What is the majority consensus? Whatever it is it will nearly always be the opposite of the truth.

That's because a majority consensus is tailored to be so simple the least intelligent member of that consensus can grasp it, assuring it will be idiotic and utterly invalid.

The reason that orthodoxies are defended so viciously is that the adherents of the orthodoxy don't waste any time thinking about their own convictions.

Kudryavtsev nailed this in the late 40's. Think of all that time passing with geologists wasting their efforts because of this junk science. Trillions of dollars spent looking for oil in the least likely places to find it, the whole while the Russians just pumping crude up like there is no tomorrow. The strength of free societies is supposed to be the rapidity with which they absorb new ideas that have merit. Obviously our society hasn't been free or a meritocracy in a long, long time.

Having worked in the oil industry for several decades, I to agree with Abiotic origins, we just need to look at several of the moons in the solar system to see that hydrocarbons can occur naturally. But on that point It doesnt matter the origin of the oil or gas, we are still using it faster than we can find it, or have it replenshed. The Russians are pumping like crazy now, due to the introduction of better drilling and exploration techniques from the west, Prior to the collapse of the USSR, alot of oil was wasted or missed.

There are issues with the Oil Abiogenic origin hypothesis:

* It doesn't explain how oil travels naturally to the surface

* It doesn't explain why organic markers are found in oil and kerogen

and

* No oil deposits have been discovered as a result of this hypothesis

Oh great, anonymous worked at a gas station selling cigarettes and beer, but he presents himself as an "oil industry" expert.

At any rate, Russians is NOT exactly "pumping crude up like there is no tomorrow" when production rates are well below the Soviet's 1980-1990 peak.

Do you think we can't do a simple Google search for Russia+oil+production+chart?

All Tex ever does is listen to the psuedo-scientists who reinforce his own POV. It's like going to the Drudge Report and using that as your basis for your political views.

Of course it does. A child could figure it out. Look at what kind of pressure these deposits are formed under, as in the Gulf of Mexico blowout.

* It doesn't explain why organic markers are found in oil and kerogen

A three year old could answer this question. Forced upward from pressure, it has to pass through ancients layers of biological material, effectively contaminating this pure crude with organic debris. Read Thomas Gold.

This is so ignorant of the facts I almost cannot be bothered to type a reply. What do you think Brazil was doing when they drilled down through the salt layer on the bottom of the ocean, where the "experts" told them there was no oil and the Russians told them they were absolutely guaranteed to find it? Shortly thereafter Obama cleared the rig in the Gulf of Mexico to proceed on the same assumptions, unfortunately that drill took place under the supervision of Kwanstain morons and see the result. Idiocracy.

P.S. What is "kerogen?" Tell me the basic composition of this substance chemically. Name even three components of "kerogen."

Are you a zionist? Because it is critically important to them for political reasons that Kwanstainians continue to believe in the fairy tale of biotic oil and limited supply. They don't care about what is the truth, they care about keeping the Kwa fighting their battles for them on the principle that all the oil is over there and it is scarce.

Yes. All these people ever do is create

Conflict and Scarcity

That is not the European way. The European way is Abundance.
