Waterloo of the Dysgenics

Particularly apt. Read this.

"Without giving specific names, most of the significant American banks, the larger banks, are bankrupt, totally bankrupt," said Rogers, who is now a private investor.

"What is outrageous economically and is outrageous morally is that normally in times like this, people who are competent and who saw it coming and who kept their powder dry go and take over the assets from the incompetent," he said. "What's happening this time is that the government is taking the assets from the competent people and giving them to the incompetent people and saying, now you can compete with the competent people. It is horrible economics."

- Jim Rogers

We are through the looking glass. Now it is time, if you're based in reality, to see events clearly for what they are. They- the powers that be- are very simply and effectively looting every thing they can before the total collapse. It cost them nothing. All they have to do is lie. If there was going to be any kind of future that would involve justice or responsibility for their actions, they wouldn't do this. There isn't. They are wisely grabbing everything they can while they can. While most people in America will be starving, slaughtering each other over a scrap of food, THEY will be laughing, laughing, laughing.

The incompetent outnumber the competent and the latter are getting outvoted.

To those who were responsible with their finances and refused to flip their houses are now forced to subsidize the idiots who did.

What do you think of the Australian monarchy?

CadorBolin - Societies collapse when the demands from the unproductive exceed the ability or the willingness of the productive to provide.

Accept it. Don't fight it.

Not quite. Not even close. You are so far off that I'm not sure where you are. You aren't on this planet anymore. What really happens is that the unproductive die off. Everything continues as if nothing happened, except the society becomes more productive.

In a just society the unproductive die off. We don't live there. Ayn Rand nailed it. We, as a society, encourage people not to work by subsidizing them with welfare and SSI, while taxing the producers to death. It's a zero sum game that has only been maintained by heavy government borrowing.
