The Maunder Minimum Conquers All

Cold shuts down almost every single natural life cycle we have come to expect to be there in the morning when we wake up. It's the interglacial that is weird and unnatural. Grasshoppers are shooting around breeding like crazy and chewing and spitting and leaping and fluttering around in an orgy of sound and fury that signifies nothing in a blaze of heat and light and fertility.

Then the cold returns. It gets quiet enough to hear yourself think again. If you survive.

I've been looking into underground food production, however every system requires large amounts of energy. What kind of system do you have or plan to have in the future Tex?

"The number of days that have not had a sunspot this year now exceeds 200. To find a year with more blank suns, you have to go back to 1954, when the sun was blank 241 times."

We got through 1954 without a worldwide disaster, so you just proved sunspot activity does not effect life on earth.

Epic Fail.

I don't know, if we had a couple winters nowadays like 1954-1959 I reckon a lot of people would die.

Assuming that's as bad as it will get, mind you. The evidence is that this is only one symptom.

It's the larger picture you will never be able to see, which is why it makes you angry to see someone who can.

You think you got hurricanes now? You should have seen the fall of 1955. That was a different generation. I predict crotch grabbers and baggy pantsed hipsters could find a series of emergencies like this will bring the entire nation to it's knees in the weakened condition it is in now.
