I watched this a few nights ago, and it was like watching Tex's theory on Thal's, Cro-mags and Melons put onto film and set in the coming Ice Age.
Longer term readers of Vault-Co will have no difficulty identifying the 3 types.

The ending has a brutally violent scene and this is not a family film, and definitely not suitable for under 15's under any circumstances. (I'm surprised it made 15+ and not R18 to be honest)

The film left me wondering how long it would take for the Cro-mag gene heavy population to reboot and start running on their original operating program once the snow starts in earnest ?

@Simon

Reading about him reminded me of William Hope Hodgeson, who died in the first World War. The two of them not only looked similar but sounded similar.

Men in Hodgeson's battalion thought him some kind of a dandy or delicate intellectual but the second week they saw him pushing a half ton cannon out of a trench with his bare hands and they realized he was some kind of superhuman. They had not suspected it because of his friendly, Clark Kent like demeanor and general modesty. He looked very similar to this man.

He was killed when an artillery shell fell directly into his blind and vaporised him. Men in his battery said that it took a direct hit from an artillery shell to kill Will Hodgeson and nothing else would have sufficed from what they saw of him.

After he died with no heirs most of his superb writings passed into the public domain. I plan to turn one of his stories into a computer game in the near future.
